Design blossomed from the idea that professional
women did not have to give up fashion and design to function
in the business world. With increasing numbers of women in the
work force and academic setting the need to evolve from
generic and masculine to stylish and functional became
apparent to Nancy Ash, founder of
Nunzia.
Nancy began researching the
current market and found the truly fashionable looks to be out
of the price range of many consumers, there was a need for
affordable laptop cases with high end appearance, made with
top grade materials.
With the help
of a leading New York fashion designer the creations were
born, but what to call them? Being a very personal quest for
Nancy she decided to keep the name personal as well. "Nunzia"
was the obvious choice, a nickname given to her by her older
brother Bob, whose life was cut short in December 2004. What a
beautiful tribute to a beautiful man, "Go for it, Nunz" echoes
in every laptop briefcase that has been
designed.
